Zahlen sind nicht Alles. Doch wie kann man sich dem Phänomen Ausgehen auch empirisch annähern? Welche sozioökonomischen Facetten des Abend- und Nachtlebens können quantitativ eingeordnet werden? Wie kann mittels Kennzahlen die Relevanz des Themenfelds für die Stadt- und Stadtentwicklungspolitik untermauert werden? Im Rahmen des Panels „ZAHLEN, BITTE – NACHTÖKONOMIE MESSEN“ geht es um verschiedene konkrete quantitativ-empirische Perspektiven auf das freizeit- und konsumorientierte Nachtleben.

Numbers aren’t everything. Nonetheless, how can one approach the phenomenon of “going out” in an empirical sense? Which socio-economical facettes of nightlife culture let themselves be quantitatively defined and measured? How can the relevance of the nocturnal economy in regards to the city and urban development policies be substantiated through objective figures? Part of the focus of this panel lies upon the various empirical perspectives regarding leisure time and consumption-oriented nightlife.
