Das Projekt Enter the Void (ETV) hat 2016 30 Expert*innen aus den Bereichen der Jugendarbeit, (Sub-)Kultur und Stadtplanung eingeladen, um die Rolle von Musik und Freiräumen für junge Menschen im Kontext ihrer selbstorganisierten kulturellen, gesellschaftlichen und politischen Beteiligung zu untersuchen. Dieser Austausch fand in den vier europäischen Metropolen Berlin, Amsterdam, Budapest und Riga statt. Als weiterer Standort kam 2017 Ramallah (Palestina) hinzu. Darüber hinaus war ETV weltweit in weiteren 16 Städten mit Aktivitäten vertreten und hat den Austausch weiter ausgeweitet.
“Enter the Void” ist mehr als nur ein Aufruf, sondern ist mittlerweile zu einer Toolbox für Szeneaktive und Kollektive genauso wie für Entscheidungsträger*innen geworden, die Ende 2017 in ihrer finalen Version vorliegen wird. Die Ergebnisse des Projektes sollen außerdem in Form eines strukturierten Dialoges in die Jugendpolitik der EU einfließen. Bei dieser Abschlusspräsentation werden die Ergebnisse des Projektes und die lokale Berliner Strategie für 2018 – 2019 vorgestellt.

The project Enter the Void (ETV) will invite 30 international experts from the fields of youth work, (sub) culture, and urban planning in order to investigate the role of music and free spaces for young people, through self-organized, cultural, social and political participation. The initial exchange took place between four European capital cities – Berlin, Budapest, Amsterdam and Riga – from 2016-2017. In 2017, an additional base was opened in Ramallah, Palestine. Beyond this network, Enter the Void travelled to 16 cities across the world to host activities and expand the exchange. 
ENTER THE VOID is not just a call for action – it is to become a toolbox for inner-scene communities and policy-makers alike, to be finalized by the end of 2017. Furthermore, the project’s results will help to strengthen EU youth strategy through its incorporation of structured dialogues. During the final presentation, Enter the Void will show its research results, and present its local strategy for Berlin for the years 2018-2019.
