Ob auf einer fetten Party im besetzten Haus oder auf Demonstrationen – um Menschen dazu zu ermächtigen, sich Räume in der Stadt zurück zu erobern brauchen sie die richtige Technik – zum Beispiel ein Soundsystem. Petrosilius von Oscillating Space wird in diesem Workshop seine Erfahrung im Bau eines lauten und billigen Soundsystems teilen. Zuerst zeigt er, welche Teile dazu nötig sind und wie die Energieversorgung sichergestellt werden kann, um die ganze Nacht Musik spielen zu können. Auch wird er erklären, welche Art von Lautsprechern gebraucht werden, um einen ordentlichen Clubsound zu erzeugen. Nach dieser theoretischen Einführung wird im praktischen Teil gemeinsam ein kleines Soundsystem zusammengebaut und ausprobiert.

Regardless of whether for a squat rave or for a demonstration, in order to empower people to reclaim spaces in the city, they need the right tools to do so. To help achieve this, Petrosilius from Oscillating Space wants to share his recent experiences in building a loud and cheap mobile sound system. First, he will provide an overview of all the important parts of a sound system and demonstrate what is required to power the amplifiers for a full night using sustainable energy. He will also show how to choose the right speakers to create a club-like sound. Following the theoretical part, he will build a small setup together with all of the participants in order to demonstrate just how easy it is to build a mobile sound system.
