Die Erfahrungen sind vielfältig, man liest und hört immer wieder von nicht gut gelaufenen Festivals und unzufriedenen Anwohnern. Auf diesem Panel wird diskutiert, wie man in Brandenburg ein erfolgreiches Festival aufbaut, was Gemeinde und Festivalmacher beachten müssen und wie Gemeinden in Brandenburg von einem Festival profitieren können. Wie arbeiten Bevölkerung, Macher, Künstler und Verwaltung professionell und Hand in Hand zusammen? Das Panel ist der zweite Teil des Stadt nach Acht Auftakts vom 6.11. im Gladhouse in  Cottbus – ‚Festivalland Brandenburg – Chancen für die Region‘ , in Zusammenarbeit mit der Projektleiterin für die Popularmusikszene im Land Brandenburg und dem Netzwerk für Popkultur in Brandenburg, PopUp.

The experiences in the festival scene are diverse – one reads and hears repeatedly about festivals that didn’t go well or about unhappy residents. In this panel we will discuss how one can organize a successful festival in Brandenburg, what the municipality and festival organizers need to take heed of, and how communities in Brandenburg can profit from such festivals. How can the local populace, organizers, artists and administration alike work hand in hand? This panel is a continuation of the Nightlife Conference 2017 opening event – on the 6th of November at Gladhouse in Cottbus: “Festival Land Brandenburg – Opportunities for the Region”. In cooperation with the project manager of the popular music scene in Brandenburg and the Network for Pop-Culture in Brandenburg, PopUp.
