Drogen wecken bei vielen die Neugier, ihr Gebrauch wirft aber auch eine Vielzahl an Fragen auf. Deshalb ist es wichtig, dass es unabhängige und vertrauenswürdige Ansprechpartner*innen gibt, die verlässliche Antworten in Hinblick auf die positiven und negativen Effekte sowie die Langzeitfolgen durch den Konsum von psychoaktiven Substanzen geben können. Das Netzwerk NEWNet mit seiner Vielzahl an Expert*innen ist hierbei eine wichtige Anlaufstelle für Drogenkonsument*innen, Gesundheitsexpert*innen und Aktivist*innen. Im Rahmen der ersten NEWNet Drug School sind einige dieser Expert*innen anwesend, um die Fragen aller Interessierten rund um den Gebrauch psychoaktiver Substanzen zu beantworten.

Drugs can often raise one’s curiosity, but their usage also brings many questions to light. Therefore, independent advice from trustworthy sources about the positive, negative and long-term effects related to the use of psychoactive substances is needed. One of the goals of NEWNet is to be one of these sources for drug consumers, health professionals and activists for the recreational use of psychoactive substances. We are proud to have so many experts in our network and here we are looking to go a step further towards an integrative session regarding the use of psychoactive substances in nightlife. People who use drugs, health professionals and activists alike are invited to be a part of the first NEWNet Drug School, and to have a unique possibility to find the answers to their questions, with the support of a wide range of experts.
