Nachtlärm ist ein Politikum. Keine Stadt mit einem attraktiven Nachtleben, die diese Diskussion nicht kennt. Active Noise Cancelling hat sich bei Kopfhörern schon bewährt. Doch wo liegt das technische Potenzial, wenn es um den Lärm der Nacht geht? Wie lässt sich der Schall besser kontrollieren ohne das beim Musikgenuss Abstriche gemacht werden müssen? Ohne das die Dezibel limitiert werden müssen? Lässt in Zukunft ein Schallvorhang die Nachbarn in der Nacht bei offenen Fenster schlafen? Fragestellungen, die im Fokus des Panels «Noise Tech» stehen werden. Es wird auch genügend Zeit zur Verfügung stehen, um mit den anwesenden Expertinnen über aktuelle und zukünftige technische Innovationen zu diskutieren.
NOISE TECH – CONTROL THE MUSIC WITHOUT QUALITY LOST
Night noise is a political issue. There isn’t a city with an attractive nightlife that hasn’t heard this discussion before. “Active noise cancelling” has been established in headphone technology, but where is the technical potential when talking about noise emissions in the night? How can noise be better controlled without putting musical enjoyment at risk, and without having to limit the decibel levels? Will there be a sound barrier in the future which will allow neighbours to sleep in peace during the night? These are all questions which will be focussed on during the panel “Noise Tech”. There will also be time for a specialized discussion about current and future technical innovations.
